Your decisions are yours.
Decisions carry financial and personal context. Pearto's defaults are built around that.
The short version
- You can use every calculator without an account.
- Entered values are used to produce your result. They are not published.
- Saved decisions are private by default. Nothing becomes shareable until you explicitly share it.
- Pearto does not sell your data.
What is processed
When you use a calculator, the values you enter are sent to our server to compute your result. Results are calculated from your inputs and Pearto's stated assumptions.
If you are not signed in, there is no account to attach that information to. If you are signed in and choose to save a decision, that decision is stored against your account.
Tool inputs and images
New tool calculations use the inputs you submit for that result. Recent-tool history stores tool IDs, not the values you entered. Choosing Save while signed in stores those inputs and the result privately in your account. You can delete saved calculations from your dashboard.
The console temporarily keeps validated intake values in your session so you can continue a task. Intake expires after 20 minutes of inactivity. Expired session data is removed on a later console visit or during routine session cleanup.
Image tools upload your chosen file for bounded processing in server memory. The tools do not save uploads or transformed downloads to disk. Transformed images have original metadata removed.
What is stored
- Account data — the username, email address and password hash needed to sign you in. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and are never recoverable.
- Tool favorites and saved calculations — only when you explicitly choose them. Saved calculations include your entered inputs and the computed result.
- Saved decisions — only if you choose to save them, and only against your own account.
- Technical logs — standard server logs recording requests and errors, used for security and debugging.
Sharing
Saved decisions are private. If and when Pearto offers share links, sharing will be an explicit action, and you will choose what is included. Shared pages are designed to strip anything you have not chosen to publish. A public link will never expose your raw financial inputs by default.
Your controls
- Delete a saved decision at any time.
- Delete your account, which removes the decisions attached to it.
- Use the tools anonymously — no account is required to get a result.
Analytics
The tools platform records aggregate daily successful-run counts by tool. These counts do not contain account IDs, IP addresses, filenames, input values or result values. They help order the “Most used this week” directory view.
Third parties
If an optional integration is not configured, it is not used. Any integration that is configured is listed here along with what it receives. Pearto does not share your entered values with advertising networks.
