Translate SRT subtitle files
VideoConvert owned long videos into 9:16 Shorts: upload a file or paste a supported link, set exact timestamps, add captions, reframe and export.
Enable JavaScript to use the interactive controls. Your guide and examples are available below.
Edit your own long-form video into YouTube Shorts-style vertical clips without uploading footage to the Pearto server.
All supplied video and subtitle processing stays inside this browser session. The editor uses the browser canvas, Web Audio and MediaRecorder APIs for local export.
Only directly downloadable HTTPS video-file URLs with appropriate CORS headers can be imported; no server-side proxy, YouTube stream extraction, DRM bypass or generic webpage download is provided. Browser link imports are limited to 512 MB. YouTube links use an official watch preview only; obtain your own uploaded video through YouTube Studio for export. Local files are subject to browser codecs and available CPU/memory. Export runs in real time, with MP4 only when MediaRecorder supports it. Text-based highlight ranking is heuristic, not automatic transcription or a viral prediction.

Yes, when the link points directly to an HTTPS video file and its host allows cross-origin reads. Regular pages, streaming playlists, protected files or hosts blocking CORS cannot be imported into the local editor.
Yes. Enter HH:MM:SS, MM:SS, decimal seconds or click Set start/end at playhead. You can also scrub the timeline.
The tool processes media in your browser and does not upload it to the Pearto server. A direct URL import is fetched from its source host into your browser.
