The shape of every result
Every Pearto tool follows the same path. Nothing is skipped, and nothing important is hidden behind a summary.

Your inputs
The values you supply. These are marked as Your input wherever they appear in a result.

Stated assumptions
Where a value is unknown, Pearto uses a typical value and labels it Assumption. Assumptions are listed at the bottom of every result and can be changed.

Deterministic calculation
Cost, payments, break-even points and scores come from formulas in code, not from a language model. The same inputs always produce the same result.

Weighted scoring
Each option is rated against criteria such as monthly cost, flexibility or long-term value. Your weights decide how much each criterion counts.

Confidence
Pearto reports how much separation there is between the options and how complete your inputs were. A close call is reported as a close call.

Flip points
The result includes the thresholds at which the recommendation reverses — the rate, price or timeframe that would change your mind.
What the Pearto Score means
The Pearto Score runs from 0 to 100. It is not a probability and it is not a measure of how "good" an option is in the abstract. It is a weighted comparison of your options under your priorities.
- Change a weight, and the score changes — because your priorities changed.
- Change an input, and the score changes — because the facts changed.
- A 51 to 49 result means the decision is genuinely close, and Pearto will say so.
What Pearto does not do
- It does not claim one option is objectively correct when the answer depends on your preferences.
- It does not hide assumptions inside a number.
- It does not present estimates as established facts.
- It does not let commercial relationships influence a score.
Where AI fits
Pearto is built so the arithmetic never depends on AI. Language models, when they are used, are limited to interpreting what you typed, phrasing an explanation and suggesting follow-up questions. Any number a model produces is treated as untrusted until deterministic code reproduces it.
If no AI provider is configured, every calculator still works. Pearto is designed to degrade quietly rather than fail loudly.
